When we got home from our vacation and as Charlie was getting ready for school, Cole asked "Mom, do I start kindergarten today?" (because I'm 5). Five years later Cole is still the cutest, snuggliest, funniest little Bug.

The Bug turns 5!
Cole had a very busy birthday in Phoenix. He started the day with birthday pancakes, then was whisked away to a surprise destination...Cerreta Candy Company, where he got to see how caramel and cream are squirted into chocolates, a five foot tall solid chocolate Santa (500 lbs, I think Old Saint Nick might actually be inside), and make his very own chocolate pizza. This was very special to Cole because each morning he wakes up asking for candy. After lunch at the Mexican restaurant, we swam at a really cool pool that had a lazy river, slides, squirters and was only two to four feet deep. Daddy arrived and we went to San Tan Flat where Cole ran around in circles like a crazed monkey on the outdoor dance floor in between bites of hot dog and hand warmings by the fire pit. Back at home Cole enjoyed his "big-top cupcake" that Charlie decorated and opened all of his gifts, which he stacked nicely for a picture. All in all, a good day for Cole.
