On Wednesday morning, Charlie will lead his whole school in saying The Pledge of Allegiance. It goes fairly well (sort of) until he gets to the bit about Republicans. Where'd this boy come from?
Here is how the first run went... "Please stand up for the pledge. Take your hats off. Now we shall begin. I pledge allegiance for the flag of America. And to the Republican. Under God. Liberty and Justice for all. One nation. What's after that???"

I ended up typing it out for him. The whole school says it in unison, so anything that wasn't quite right, just blended in.
