Time, it is a-flying. Once again, I can't believe my oldest is a year older. This year, Charlie requested a movie birthday party. We took 8 kids to see Where The Wild Things Are, which was probably targeted toward 9 or 10 year olds (whoops), then came home for pizza and Ben and Jerry's ice cream cake. Special guests Grammie, Grandpa Chas, Nana and Grandpa Doug accompanied us on this mission. I think the boys all had a great time. We continued the tradition of having friends help with an animal adoption at the zoo. This year, Charlie wants to adopt the Komodo dragon. The present-less party seems to be working well for us...as long as he gets good ones from the family. Thankfully his party was on Saturday, because Charlie came down with the yucky (likely H1N1) flu on Sunday.
