Girls Weekend in Arizona

No kids, no appointments, no place to be...just relaxing with my two favorite girls. What a weekend! Megan, Mom and I spent Friday through Sunday in Sun Lakes, AZ (a.k.a. old fogies 'hood:). Highlights included a hike on South Mountain along a trail "where you can't get lost." We did. Mom was such a trooper hiking up the really steep hill for for 45 minutes in the hot Arizona sun. I got to go running twice. Oh yes, we spent time at the pool in the lovely 70ish degree sun. We had a fun dining experience at San Tan Flats, a restaurant, bar and more. There were lots of picnic tables, fire pits complete with s'more fixins, an outdoor bandstand and dance floor with live music (country of course), pool tables, a couple saloons/bars, a restaurant, and hundreds of people to fill it. I had the most delicious margarita ever, which was mixed with brown sugar. We also shared a grilled lobster tail. Saturday night we dined at a tasty Mexican joint...good margaritas there too. You might be noticing a theme? Good company, good food and drinks and good exercise. I couldn't ask for more. Thanks mom and Megan. Love you! BTW***double click on the picture to get a close up. Look at mom's face, the one where she's sitting in the saddle. Might be an all time favorite Judy shot. She reminds me of a kid. I love it!
