Where did the past week go?

My goal was to "do" 2 blogs a week...oops! I'll try to hit the highlights. John went rafting/fishing in Hell's Canyon with a group of guys Thursday to Sunday. My college friend Erika and her daughter Holly visited from Reno. Christine, Erika and I got to spend 3 lovely days together. On Friday night we went out to The Cottonwood Grill for a delicious steak dinner. On Saturday, Charlie had a soccer game, then nature camp. Cole and I went to the park and ran some errands during camp. After we picked up Charlie, we went over to Christine's for the "nuu-muu" unveiling party. This fantastic exercise dress was invented by Christine and will hopefully be worn around the world by many (www.nuu-muu.com). On Sunday Charlie attended a birthday party. Cole and I went to the zoo with friends, then out to early dinner. Later that evening, Christine had pictures of the women in nuu-muus. Check them out at www.nuu-muu.com (There's a pix or 2 of me as well). Monday was definitely a highlight for the boys. We went to a Japanese tepanyaki steak house for a friend's birthday. Cole dressed up as a pirate: "Black Stache". Charlie, John and I went in plain clothes. Tony the Tiger was our entertaining chef. The boys were amazed and astounded. There was fire, thrown food, loud noises, and sharp objects: a young boy's dream, really. Cole was so cute. He must have made 20 comments about the experience..."he's a good chef man, I like this food, this is fun, this isn't like my birthday party." The boys have never been so well-behaved for a dining outing. The best part was when Tony the Tiger tossed a shrimp into Charlie's mouth from 6-7 feet away AND Charlie caught it. Cole was 0 for 2. I got a shrimp in the eye. John caught his, of course. Well, a little long-winded. I'll try to post more frequently to avoid this problem.
