Coyote

Tonight I went on a fantabulous foothills run with my friend Cindy. It was a sunshine-y, blue-sky evening, with a nearly full moon and a healthy coyote peeking at us in the distance. I love my neighborhood!

When I got home from my run, the boys helped me clean up the house as Ann and Doug are returning from vacationing in Turkey (can't have the 'rents thinking I'm slobby). I sent the boys downstairs to get their toys off of the floor while I started on dishes. Minutes after they got downstairs, the TV was turned on. I called down to ask them to turn it off when Charlie yelled up, "It's okay mom. It's O-rock Uh-bama on TV. Come watch with us" He knows I'm a fan and figured I'd want to watch too. That boy is so smart, he really has people figured out.

As I type this note (well past the boys bedtime), Cole is in the other room doing some imaginative play..."Gentlemen and ladies, presenting the show of Charlie head skunk howler." Charlie is howling. Better get the little coyotes to sleep.

P.S. I love you Megan:) and Happy 38th Anniversary Mom and Dad.
