"Barking Spider"

No...this post is not about flatulence. That's the name of a local run and mountain bike race. I can't think of why except that there were cows in the vicinity and it was odoriferous, just like barking spiders. Anyway, some girlfriends and I (picture L to R: Christine, Amy, Cindy, me) ran the 10.6 mile "race" in the Snake River Valley region of Idaho on Saturday. The weather was perfect. There were lots of hills, rocks, sagebrush bushes, and dirt (no trees). Sounds lovely, eh? The change of scenery was pretty nice. I finished, 'nuf said. Running races is typically pretty inspiring for me and I usually want to keep up on the running after I complete an event. My friend Cindy and I decided today that we're going to have our own personal races. We'll set the date, chart the route, train, race, and then go shopping to buy our own cute t-shirts (and maybe other sporting wear if necessary:) I think everyone will want to follow our lead with this idea. Maybe we'll patent it and make millions $$.
