Adventure Day

Despite the torrential down-pour, 65 first and second graders (three teachers and several parents) rode their bikes to Ann Morrison Park and back to Anser without complaint. They enjoyed the fresh air and lunch at the park before returning back to school where they did art, bubbles, three-legged races, parachute, board games and more. I I love that when my kids are having fun they are fully present in that fun and don't pay attention to the unimportant details like the cold, rain, and wind. At what age do we (adults) become such wimps about the weather?
