Lunchtime at the Taylor's in anything but dull. Just today, Charlie was playing with his food and a toothpick when he announced, "Look, at my banana hammock." John and I immediately began laughing (b/c the hammock was so creative-teehee:). We couldn't stop laughing, actually. Because Charlie got such great reception from his invention, he repeated over and over, "you like my banana hammock? banana hammock..." Cole obviously noted all of the attention, grabbed his sandwich and said "Look at my mountain. Hahaha."
The boys have been quite creative lately, even with story-telling (lying). In fact Cole told one of his first real lies today. He and Charlie were wrestling in their room when Charlie began wailing. I went in to see what happened. Sweet little Cole bit Charlie in the eye, leaving a large bruise, red-show and swelling. When I asked Cole if he knew what happened, he said, "Charlie kicked me and I said no thank you for kicking, then I walked away.". Me: Then how did Charlie get a bite on his eye?" Cole: "Well, I didn't do it." Me: "Really?" Cole: "Well, I bit his head and his eye got close by".
The last picture is super-hero "Strongman Cole" hunting for bugs.

Okay, I know I was just there for dinner and heard this cute story...but when you wrote you were laughing because of how cute his creation was, it made me wonder, "Do you know what a banana hammock ALSO refers to?" A man's bikini swimsuit....you knew that, right? Thanks for yummy dinner!
Wow, funny stuff! Thanks for starting my Monday off with a good chuckle. Hugs to you all.
